What organising a National Science Day event taught me about shipping

Events and software have more in common than I expected. Organising National Science Day at Chitkara University, and later the EcoQuest event with the Ecolution Club, taught me how to deliver under a real deadline.

There are a lot of moving parts: people, schedules, and the small things that break at the last minute. My job was to keep the team coordinated and to spot the bottlenecks before they became problems.

Watching workflows closely and flagging inefficiencies early is exactly what good engineering teams do during delivery. The vocabulary is different, but the instincts transfer.
